China Import and Export Fair, also renowned as the Canton Fair, is held biannually in Guangzhou every April and October, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by China Foreign Trade Centre. The Canton Fair has been held uninterruptedly for 113 sessions since 1957. The Fair, comprehensive in nature, has won its renown of "China's No.1 Fair" for its longest history, the largest scale, the most complete in exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China.
The 113th Session of Canton Fair has boasted a gross exhibition space of over 1,160,000sqm, 24,746 enterprises from home and abroad and 59,531 stands. 202,766 overseas buyers from 211 countries and regions around the world attended the 113th Canton Fair, a 7.06% increase over the 112th session, which achieved a recovery growth. The number of buyers from the top 20 countries and regions reached 127,882, accounting for 63.07% of the total. Hong Kong SAR, United States, India, Russia, Taiwan Province, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand and Korea were the top ten in the list.
